August 2026 focused on making zbaiart.com feel faster, clearer, and easier to browse without changing the creator-controlled release model. The work landed in small verified packets so public pages, member tools, and search discovery could improve together.

Hybrid member profiles

Member profiles now use a rebuilt public shell with focused tabs for showcase, collection, activity, and owner-only customize tools. Legacy dashboard markup was removed, owner JavaScript loads with defer, and visitors no longer download the full legacy profile stylesheet. If you have an active Patreon membership, open your member profile to see the cleaner layout and visitor preview.

Faster public discovery

Collection cards, hero images, and several gallery surfaces now prefer optimized WebP derivatives with clearer srcset wiring. Cold routes such as Characters and series hubs warm faster thanks to nav prefetch and tighter session behavior on public catalog pages. Sitemap and blog feeds also cache more predictably for crawlers.

Light-mode readability

Light theme passes now target stricter contrast on series kickers, community guest CTAs, profile tabs, and footer-adjacent copy. The goal is simple: public pages should stay readable in daylight without losing the charcoal-and-coral gallery identity.

Hall of Fame presentation

The standalone Hall of Fame page shed inline presentation styles in favor of shared tokens, so headers, toolbars, and empty states match the rest of the catalog surfaces on desktop and mobile.

What stayed the same

Finished releases still flow through the same creator approval gate. Patreon remains the official destination for complete member sets, while the public site continues to provide previews, voting context, character hubs, and editorial guides like this one.
