1. Who We Are

ZBaiArt ("we", "us", "our") operates zbaiart.com — a fan art community site. For any questions, reach us via Patreon.

2. Information We Collect

• Patreon OAuth data — When you log in via Patreon, we receive your Patreon user ID, display name, and current membership status and tier. We use that information to maintain your site account and gate member features. We do not request or store new Patreon member email addresses for site-account login.
• Votes & suggestions — We record votes and character suggestions tied to your Patreon ID to prevent duplicates and display community stats.
• ZBcoins & activity — We record login activity, coin balances, achievements, and community actions (votes, boosts, suggestions) to power the ZBcoin engagement system. This data is tied to your Patreon ID and is never sold or shared.
• Session data — Standard PHP sessions and an optional 30-day remember-me cookie. New remember-me cookies contain only an opaque random token; older cookie values that included a Patreon ID are rotated to the token-only format when next used.
• Anonymous site traffic and performance — We record the page path, a broad source category (such as search, social, referral, or direct), campaign label when present, device class, event time, bucketed loading or interaction ratings, and whether a Characters or Series search returned no results. We do not store an IP address, exact performance timing, full referrer URL, browser fingerprint, Patreon identity, or search-query text with these events.
• Email alerts — If you sign up for release notifications, your email address is sent to our email service provider for double opt-in confirmation. We may also send signup source, signup date, referring page, IP address, and browser user agent if the provider supports those fields. We do not import, purchase, scrape, or manually add emails.

3. How We Use Your Data

• To verify your Patreon tier and grant appropriate content access.
• To display vote counts, suggestion boards, and Hall of Fame rankings.
• To understand which public pages and release links are useful and where broad loading or interaction ratings need attention, using first-party anonymous totals.
• To send simple email release alerts, weekly digests, and site updates only after you confirm your signup.
• We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Email Release Notifications

Email alerts use double opt-in: after you submit the form, the email service provider sends a confirmation email, and you are added only after confirming. Every email includes an unsubscribe link managed by the provider. Messages are limited to release notifications, weekly digests, and site updates, and subject lines stay clear and non-explicit.

5. Service Providers

• Patreon provides the OAuth login and membership information used to operate member features.
• Hostinger provides website hosting and the MySQL database. It processes site requests, sessions, stored account data, and ordinary hosting, access, security, and diagnostic logs as part of providing and protecting the service.
• Cloudflare provides a narrowly scoped Worker used when a direct Patreon membership lookup is unavailable. The Worker temporarily processes the OAuth access token and Patreon response in transit. We do not intentionally store that token or raw response in site logs.
• An email service provider processes an address only when you separately submit and confirm the email-alert form.

6. Cookies & Sessions

We use a first-party session cookie for login state, age verification, and one anonymous visit count per browser session each day. Campaign-attribution values may be kept in first-party browser storage for up to 30 days. We use no third-party analytics or advertising cookies. Patreon's own cookies are governed by Patreon's Privacy Policy.

My ZB Library and Member Home are built from actions you explicitly take, such as Watch, votes, Suggestions, and saved notification preferences. Series Continue points are stored only when you press “Save my place here.” ZBaiArt does not build these member features from passive browsing history.

7. Data Retention & Deletion

OAuth access and refresh tokens are used only during the current login request and are not written to the member database. Account and community data remain while your site account is active so your profile, votes, suggestions, rewards, and preferences continue to work.

Separate former-member recovery retention is disabled by default. If it is deliberately enabled, retained recovery records expire after no more than 90 days. You can delete your account from your Profile settings or contact us via Patreon. Account deletion removes member-linked account, profile, activity, voting, suggestion, reward, notification preference, explicit series-progress, and recovery records together. Only statistics that no longer contain an identifier or member-linked metadata may remain in aggregate.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (EU/UK GDPR, CCPA, etc.) you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Contact us via Patreon with any requests.

9. Changes

We may update this policy occasionally. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
